Firefighters help rescue woman following two car collision at Locking Stumps

FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a woman from a car following a two-vehicle collision at Locking Stumps, Warrington, earlier today, Thursday.

Two fire engines attended, one from Birchwood and one from Leigh following reports of a collision involving two cars on Glover Road at around 9am.



On arrival, the crews assisted paramedics in assessing a woman and helped remove her from one of the vehicles.
The woman was then handed into the care of paramedics.
Firefighters then worked to make the vehicles safe.
The crews were in attendance for around 40 minutes.
