Vistry Partnerships show support for grassroots sport

WARRINGTON-based Vistry Partnerships North West, a leading regeneration business, has sponsored Crosfield Cobras Under 12s rugby team as part of their efforts to support local grassroots initiatives.

The club, which was formed over a hundred years ago, provides boys aged between 8 and 18 with the chance to learn and play rugby league. The club’s under 12 team, who play in the North West Counties League, will don a new blue and yellow kit funded by the developer.

The sponsorship comes off the back of Vistry Partnerships work across the entire North West, with the developer’s regional base located in Birchwood.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Vistry Partnerships’ Managing Director for the North West, Ian Hilliker, said: “Our regional office has been based in Warrington for quite some time, so when an opportunity arose to support the fantastic community which surrounds us, we were more than happy to help. At Vistry Partnerships, we pride ourselves on being more than just a developer – we strive to leave a positive lasting legacy in the communities we serve.”
Paul Arnison from Crosfields Cobras said: “We are thrilled that Vistry Partnerships has supplied and sponsored our stylish new kit for the upcoming season. Grassroots rugby is embedded in the history of Warrington, and we hope the new kit brings us luck for the season ahead.”
With nine regional offices across the country, Vistry Partnerships is one of the industries’ fastest-growing businesses and forms part of the Vistry Group alongside Bovis Homes and Linden Homes. The North West unit is currently working alongside several local authorities and some of the region’s biggest housing associations to deliver much-needed homes, extra care facilities and affordable properties across Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
