HEAVY rain lashed various parts of the Warrington area – and flooded the cellars of one pub.
Fire crews were called to the Pear Tree Inn at Collins Green, Burtonwood at 6.30pm last night (Wednesday) when the cellars were inundated during a torrential downpour.
Firefighters pumped the floodwater away and managed to prevent damage to other parts of the building.
