ANIMAL lovers will be keen to help two small Warrington charities fundraising for animal welfare.
Warrington Animal Welfare and Prevent Unwanted Pets both work in the community to promote the importance of neutering and helping to re-home unwanted pets. Both charities need extra funds to cover the cost of outstanding vet bills.
The first event is a charity auction to be held in Warrington on Sunday July 25. There will be more than 150 lots ranging from antique and collectables to general bric-a-brac and household goods.
The sale at Hollins Park Country Club, Townsfield Lane, Winwick, starts at 1pm with viewing from 10am. Refreshments will be available.
The charities have also been donated a two-night break in a three star apartment – which sleeps two people – in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
People are invited to send a bid for the break with their contact details to Two Day Break Auction, c/o Mrs Maudsley, 9 Alderbank Road, Great Sankey Warrington, WA5 3DW, before July 30.
