Fire crew tackle town centre bin blaze

A fire crew was called out on Tuesday afternoon to tackle a bin fire that was well ablaze in Warrington town centre.

One fire engine from Knutsford, which was diverted from an incident at Woolston, attended the fire in a bin on Cairo Street.
On arrival, the crew found one litter bin well alight.
A water backpack was used to extinguish the flames.
