FOUR new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Warrington for a second consecutive day in the latest daily update from Public Health England – with infection rates still well below the national rate which is increasing.

Cases in Warrington for the last seven days have risen slightly, with 21 (16) – 10 (7.6) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period– but still well below the national rate of 27 (26.2) per 100,000, which continues to rise.
Warrington & Halton Hospitals have temporarily suspended provided information due to a data validation exercise.
There have been no reported deaths at the hospital since April 27th.
There have been a total of 497 COVID-related deaths at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.
