Road to close for six weeks

A BUSY road will be temporarily closed for resurfacing from July 19.
Work on Cherry Lane, Lymm, will cover the area from the junction at The Avenue to the junction at A50 Cliff Lane/ M6 roundabout. It will take about six weeks to complete.
The Lane will be closed to through traffic between the motorway roundabout at the southern end of Cherry Lane, and the junctions with Booths Hill Road and Elm Tree Road while the work takes place.
The alternative route during the road closure will be A50, Cliff Lane/ Knutsford Road and A56 Stockport Road/Camsley Lane/ Booths Hill Road.
Work will take place Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm in phases to minimise disruption.
Pedestrian access will be available at all times during progress of the works. Access will be available for residents up to the points of closure.
