Fun Day
OLD Hall Community Group is holding a summer fun day on tomorrow (Saturday), from 11am to 3pm on land at the rear of Cavendish Close, Gregory Close and Livingstone Close. There will be face painting, a cake stall, plant sale, bouncy castle, free raffle and much more.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 6, 9, 13 and 16. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled-over until next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a member of hospital staff.

Village collection
A HOUSE-to-house collection in Lymm raised £5,950 for Christian Aid.
The event was organised by Lymm Churches Together and local organiser for the charity Anne Jordan thanked all those who supported the collection.

Choir’s visit
A CHILDREN’s choir from Uganda is to perform at St Paul’s Church, Penketh, Warrington tomorrow (Sunday). They will sing contemporary and traditional African songs from 5pm to raise money for the Kampala Children’s Centre.

Twilight walk
A TWILIGHT walk to help raise money for Manchester’s Christie Hospital takes place in Lymm next Thursday. The 5km walk will start from the high school cricket pavilion from 6.30pm. Tickets are available from the school shop and Rushgreen Service Station.
