JUST two COVID-19 inpatients remain in Warrington Hospital, while two new cases have been confirmed in the latest data from Public Health England, with infection rates less than half the national rate.
There were no new COVID-19 cases reported yesterday. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,941 (17,939).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days have risen slightly, with 21 (18) – 10 (8.6) per 100,000 population – but remain less than half the national rate of 23.2 (22.5) per 100,000.
There are currently just two COVID-19 inpatients at Warrington & Halton Hospital on a general ward.
There have been no reported deaths at the hospital since April 27th.
There have been a total of 497 COVID related deaths at the hospital since the start of the pandemic.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 485 (485) 230.9 per 100,000 population compared to the national rate of 191.2
