Neighbours oppose plans for new apartment block

A TOTAL of 17 nearby residents have lodged objections to a plan to build a three-storey apartment block in Kingsway North, Warrington.

They claim the development of six apartments is an over-development of the site that will lead to a loss of privacy an impact on neighbour’s amenity and disturbance through vehicle movements.
Cllr Tony Higgins has also objected to the proposals.

But Warrington Borough Council planning officers are recommending the scheme be approved by the borough council’s development management committee.
They say the principle of development is acceptable and the scheme is not harmful to the character of the area nor visual amenity.
