FIRE crews were called out to tackle another three fires in the open around Warrington, yesterday, Saturday, in Orford, Latchford and Appleton
At 20:21 last night one crew from Birchwood was called out following reports of a fire in the open on Alder Lane, Orford Warrington
Crews used water to extinguish a refuse bin fire on Alder Lane.
Earlier at 19:20 one crew from Penketh, attended a fire on Thelwall Lane, Latchford and used a hose reel to extinguish bracken and gorse which was alight.
At 16:59 one crew from Warrington was called out to Tynwald Drive, Appleton, where firefighters extinguished a cylinder that was well alight.
We continue to be called out to fires that have been started deliberately.
