Police appeal after moped rider seriously injured

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a moped rider was seriously injured in a collision at Bewsey, Warrington, on Friday afternoon last week.

The collision took place at the junction of Froghall Lane and Besey Road near the Eric Moore Health Centre.



A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 4.51pm on Friday, a moped and a car were in collision in Froghall Lane at its junction with Bewsey Road, Warrington.
“The rider of the moped was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting IML 947969.”
