FOR a second consecutive day no new COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital, while 25 new cases have been confirmed in the town, continuing a downward trend.
Hospital inpatient numbers are also continuing to fall in Warrington and across the country.
The 25 (17) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,446 (17,404).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 141 (144) – 67.1 (68.6) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period for a sixth consecutive day.
This compares to the national rate of 59.2 (59.1) per 100,000.
