TWO staff members from a Warrington care company helped raise thousands of pounds for charity by completing the Great Manchester Run.
Philip Adlem, co-owner of the local office of Home Instead Senior Care ran for the Prostate Cancer charity and his franchise manager, Sarah Durkin, ran for St Luke’s Hospice.
Philip – who runs the business with his wife, Tracey – completed the run as part of a 20-strong team which raised £5,000 in a respectable 54 minutes, while Sarah finished in 47 minutes and 27 seconds.
Afterwards, Philip said: “I really enjoyed the whole experience. It was great to be a part of the atmosphere and to help raise money for such a worthy cause.”
Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical care for older people in their own homes.
