Police increase patrols after reports of youths smoking cannabis

POLICE are increasing patrols around the Whittle Brook area of Great Sankey following reports of youths congregating and smoking cannabis.

Great Sankey North Police say they have received more than one report that groups of youths are using the benches along Whittle Brook to stop and smoke Cannabis.
They are appealing to members of the public to use the non-emergency number 101 to report any incidents.
They also say the area will be getting checked on a regular basis.
