Door-to-door salesman issued with COVID fixed penalty notice at Appleton

A door-to-door salesman has been issued with a COVID breach fixed penalty notice following complaints from several residents living in the Appleton area of Warrington.

PCSOs issued the fixed penalty notice yesterday on Field Lane after receiving several complaints from residents.
The male claimed to be an ex-offender and had travelled from the North East to pedal cleaning products.
These salesmen sometimes referred to as the Nottingham Knockers regularly operate in the area without the correct license.
