Hunt for supermarket raiders

POLICE at Warrington have issued more information relating to a burglary at a supermarket in the town in the early hours of the morning.
CCTV footage has now been view and shows the suspects arriving at the location in a blue 44-type vehicle with a distinctive white roof and white wheel attached to the door.
The raid was at the Somerfield store in Warrington Road, Penketh at about 3.30am on Monday.
A gang smashed their way through metal shutters at the front of the store and got away with a five figure sum from a cash machine within the building,
Detectives say the registration number of the 4X4 was P310 LLG. They are appealing for help from anyone who has seen the vehicle, or know of its whereabouts.
Witnesses of the raid are also being sought – or anyone who might have any information about the raid or the offenders.
