School Reunion
FORMER pupils of the old Lymm Grammar School, who started in the period 1970-1973, are being invited to a reunion at the Lymm Hotel on Saturday, October 16.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 1, 9, 10 and 14. The jackpot prize went unclaimed but a £25 consolation prize was awarded to a member of hospital staff.
Appeal lost
AN appeal against Warrington Borough Council’s refusal to grant permission for extensions at High Croft Poultry Farm, Lady Lane, Croft, has been dismissed by a government-appointed inspector.
Balloon release
HUNDREDS of balloons are being released from the Birchwood Shopping Centre, near Warrington, today (Saturday) to raise money for the Tickled Pink charity.
Free races
