Community group's problem survey

A COMMUNITY survey is being carried out in Lymm to identify local problems and find out what local people feel about the village, its facilities, sense of community, etc.
The survey is being organised by Lymm Youth and Community Association as part of its ongoing campaign to secure the future of the Youth and Community Centre – formerly known as Lymm Youth Club.
Copies of the survey questionnaire are available at the Youth and Community Centre and a number of local businesses, including Burnetts Premier Stores, Rushgreen Garage and Statham McColls.
Alternatively, residents can complete the survey online at www.lymmyca.org.uk/survey.
Issues highlighted in the survey include Lymm’s sense of community, facilities such as meeting rooms, local groups and societies, traffic, speed limits, shops and restaurants, housing development and anti-social behaviour.
A spokesman for the association said: ” We are keen to ensure our community caters for all and we hope that this survey will help us identify key areas for improvement. We value local people’s thoughts, ideas and suggestions. Their views will help us make Lymm Youth and Community Centre work for everyone.”
