WARRINGTON North MP Charlotte Nichols says Britain must channel the incredible solidarity seen during the Covid crisis into a plan to rebuild the country.
She says Labour, by protecting the interests of working people and tackling the inequality that blights the country, is the party of economic security.
Ms Nichols was speaking in praise of party leader Keir Starmer following his “New Chapter for Britain speech on the economy.
He called on the Government to give the British people “a stake in the national recovery,” and called for the budget on March 3 to create security and opportunity across the country.
The Labour leader also reinforced the party’s opposition to the proposed £20 cut to Universal Credit in April.
