TEACHERS and pupils at a Lymm primary school are celebrating after it was described as “outstanding” by the educational watchdog OFSTED.
Cherry Tree Primary School previously held a “good” status but is now one of just six per cent of primary schools in the country which are classed as “outstanding”.
Inspectors were impressed by the schools harmonious and inclusive community in which every one of the 207 children is valued and enabled to achieve as well as he or she can.
In a letter to parents, head teacher Helen Hall, said: “I want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everybody who has worked so hard to help us to achieve such high praise. Our wonderful children always work hard and their progress is excellent.”
