WHEN Coun Helena Campbell was elected chairman of Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council, no less than 10 members of her family turned up to watch – including her youngest and eldest granddaughters.
Eldest granddaughter Simone, 16, and youngest granddaughter Erin, two months, were among the members of the family who attended the annual meeting of the council.
Husband Paul – also a parish councillor and a borough councillor – managed to get to the meeting after attending a meeting of Warrington Borough Council’s executive board.
Also present were daughter Lianne, son Paul, daughter-in-law Vickie, sister Mary, brother-in-law Danny, stepson Wayne and niece Sharon.
Helena took over as chairman from Coun Sue Bland.
Coun Lilian Houghton was elected deputy chairman.
