Players present Beside the Seaside

0

CULCHETH Players are giving theatre lovers the chance to go back to the carefree days of the late 1950s.
When life was quieter and simpler. No mobile phones, no internet, no double glazing salesmen and no reality TV!
When one week’s annual holiday by the sea was enough to recharge batteries for the year.
The players will be at the Blackpool boarding house of Mrs Austin in Leslie Sands’ hilarious “Beside the Seaside” “enduring” their hard earned break in typical budget holiday accommodation. Laughs aplenty as Wilf squares up to the matriarchal landlady and a newly wed couple head for their first
quarrel.
The play is staged at Culcheth Sports and Social Club (The Daten) on May 20, 21 and 22 at 7.30pm.
Tickets available from behind the bar or can be reserved by phoning 07824424538.
