Man hurt in early hours dispute

POLICE are seeking witnesses after an incident in Warrington in the early hours of today in which a man suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
Detectives believe the injuries arose from a dispute between two groups of men in Longford Street, around 1.42am.
One group of men were in a silver Vauxhall Corsa car and the others were seated on a wall in Longford Street.
The injured man was kept in hospital overnight and was only discharged this morning.
Six local men have subsequently been arrested and are currently being questioned.
