Charity to show off new home

A PIONEERING Warrington charity is holding an open day to show off its newly refurbished home today (Tuesday).
Work has now been completed on the £1m facelift for Warrington Disability Partnership’s Centre for Independent Living in Beaufort Street, off Liverpool Road.
The building – which had to be vacated while the refurbishment went on – is a former primary school and caretaker’s house which has been extended..
It now caters for WDP and the wider community, with a superb range of facilities for children, older people and people are a wide range of backgrounds.
WDP have plans to further extend the services they offer to more than 32,000 disabled people living in Warrington.
The centre will be open between 10am and 12 noon and 5pm and 7pm.
