Hospital lottery
ONE lucky winner claimed the jackpot prize of £395 in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Winning numbers were 1, 7, 8 and 10. A £25 consolation prize went to a member of hospital staff.

School centenary
CENTENARY celebrations at Stockton Heath Primary School will start on Tuesday, May 4 when headteacher Lynda Carnes will show pupils a plaque to mark the occasion.

May Fayre
St CROSS Church, Appleton Thorn, is holding a May Fayre on Saturday, May 8 at 2pm. There will be stalls, tombola and afternoon teas at the event at Appleton Thorn Village Hall.

Flower Service
A FLOWER festival will opn at St John’s Church, Walton, on May 7 to mark the 125th anniversary of the church. Among guests will be Lord and Lady Daresbury and the Mayor of Warrington, Coun Brian Axcell. The festival will open at 10am and the decorated church will be open for the following two days.
