One more COVID-19 death and 37 new cases continues upward trend

ONE more COVID-19 patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital since yesterday, while 37 new cases continue an upward trend, with more than 9,000 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.

The 37 (61) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 9,011 (8,974).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 353 (326) – 168.1 (155.2) per 100,000 population – showing a continuing upward trend in infection rates over a seven day period for a seventh consecutive day.
