LATEST data released by Public Health England reveals Warrington’s latest COVID-19 hot spots as infection rates start to increase since the end of lockdown.

The most significant increases have been seen in Culcheth West and Croft, Hulme, Houghton Green & Fearnhead, Blackbrook, Orford, Great Sankey, Fairfield & Howley, Central Warrington and Penketh & Cuerdley.

Today’s release of small area case counts for Warrington from Public Health England are for the 7 days ending 12th December.
The numbers are shown below as well as the numbers in each area the previous week, 7 days ending 5th December (shown in parentheses).

Where no number is shown it is because the cases in those areas were less than three. It is not reliable to assume that the case count is zero when no number is shown.
This week the count is withheld on only one area, Appleton, which allows comparison with the totals for the day in question which shows that there were in fact two cases in Appleton and not zero.
