One more COVID-19 death and 43 new cases confirmed in Warrington

ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 while 43 new cases have been confirmed in the town, in the latest figures from Public Health England.

The 43 (34) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 8,492 (8,449).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 253 (262) – 120.5 (124.8) per 100,000 population – which shows a continuing downward trend in infection rates.
Meanwhile, while a new vaccine was issued at seven hospitals in the North West earlier today, Warrington was not one of them.
