One more COVID-19 death and 27 new cases show downward trend

ONE more COVID-19 death has been reported in Warrington while 27 new cases have been confirmed, in the latest figures from Public Health England.

While Warrington Hospital do not update their data locally at weekends, one more death has been recorded in the town by Public Health England.
The 27 (45) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 8,415 (8,388).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 265 (273) – 126.2 (130) per 100,000 population – which shows another slight decrease in infection rates.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England remains 265 (264) 126.2 per 100,000 population.
