Speed limit for danger road

A 30 mph speed limit is to be introduced on a dangerous Culcheth road.
Borough highways chiefs have agreed to a request from Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council for the 30 mph limit on Broseley Lane to be extended beyond Broseley Bridge.
The current limit on that stretch of road is 40mph
Coun Keith Bland, chairman of the council’s environment sub-committee said: “We have been asking for this limit for years – as have residents of Broseley Lane.
“Numerous motorists travelling at 40mph or faster end up in the field because they take a nasty bend too fast.
“The work will be carried out in the next three or four months.”
