No deaths reported and downward trend continues as new COVID-19 cases continue to drop

NO further COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday while 48 new cases have been confirmed, continuing a downward trend, with the infection rate now down to 173.8 per 100,000 population in a seven day period.

The 48 (37) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 8,128 (8,080).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 365 (393) – 173.8 (195.2) per 100,000 population, which continues a downward trend.

  1. Please could you publish a breakdown of the reported 303 tragic deaths “with Covid -19 on the Death Certificate”, I.e. were co-morbities involved? Age demographic etc?

    Such information would prove useful in countering growing hysteria, Anxiety and would help citizens make an informed decision on whether to take the forthcoming vaccine; assuming vaccination is to remain voluntary

    • The information you are asking for is not available at a local level. The closest information showing co-morbidities is the ICNARC reports but that is available only on a national level.
      I am told the actual cause of death is in fact not what statisticians use, they want underlying cause of death which is available in the statistics for last year but for 2020 it will not be available until 2021.
