FIREFIGHTERS arrived at the scene of a house fire at Warrington to find it had already been extinguished by the occupants.
The blaze involved a washing machine at a property in Meteor Crescent, Orford yesterday.
Firefighters removed the machine from the house and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
They also fitted fire alarms in the property before leaving after about 30 minutes. There were no reports of casualties.
