Classic rock fans get three for the price of one with A Foreigner’s Journey and Fleetwood Bac

CLASSIC rock fans were in for a treat at Warrington Parr Hall on Saturday night, as they got three great bands for the price of one with a Foreigner’s Journey and Fleetwood Bac.

A Foreigner’s Journey has proudly won both the “UK’s Number 1 Tribute to Foreigner” and the “UK’s Number 1 Tribute to Journey” awards at the National Tribute Music Awards, with Jeff Pilson, bass player of Foreigner stating “Check out this amazing band, they rock!”
And he is not wrong!
As a fan of both Foreigner and Journey, this was a real treat for me.

Featuring the amazing vocals of Adam J Oades, and cherry-picking the very best and most iconic songs from each of the two bands, A Foreigner’s Journey created a memorable set- list, including rock classics Don’t Stop Believin’, Cold As Ice, Juke Box Hero, I Want To Know What Love Is, Waiting For A Girl Like You, Open Arms and many more.
It was a shame they were restricted to just one hour to cover two iconic bands – but for those who want to witness the full show – they can be seen at the Live Rooms in Chester in January.

Next up was Fleetwood Bac and while not a huge fan of the originals, there were plenty of foot-tapping classics to keep me entertained for a set that spanned well over 90 minutes and beyond the 11 pm curfew!
Fleetwood Bac were the world’s first and are regarded as the UK’s most authentic Fleetwood Mac Tribute show, raved about by Peter Green’s biographer, and were the first Fleetwood Mac tribute band to fully replicate the classic Stevie, Lindsey, Christine, John & Mick ‘Rumours’ line-up.
Opening with the “Chain” and finishing with “Don’t Stop” and including “Go your own way,” all off the classic “Rumours” album, Fleetwood Mac fans all went home extremely happy.
All in all a great night and once again the Parr Hall provided the perfect backdrop for a near sell-out crowd of over 1,000.
Next up for classic rock lovers is the Christmas tradition of the LiveWire AC/DC show also featuring Shef Leppard on December 20th.
