FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to help rescue a dog trapped between a wall and bushes at Culcheth, Warrington.
At 22:07 one crew from Birchwood was called out to Allen Avenue, Culcheth, to rescue a Yorkshire Terrier that had become stuck between a wall and bushes.
Crews set up lighting and a short extension ladder before using a saw to remove some of the bushes and concrete blocks.
They were able to reach the dog who was safely returned to its owner.
