Manager delighted as Rylands bounce back

NEW manager Neil Reynolds was delighted with the attitude and aptitude of the Warrington Rylands squad after they came back from two rapid first half goals to take a 2-2 draw against a strong Mickleover team.

Two new signings were in the starting line up and both of them found the back of the net. Leslie Adekoya and Cole Lonsdale have been added to the squad by Reynolds to add strength in depth
Rylands began in dominating form and were threatening Yusuf Musin from the off but a mix up between Matt Regan and Toby Hurst, in goal for the absent Luke Pilling, allowed Stuart Beavon to pinch the ball and chip Hurst for the first goal after just 9 minutes.

To add to the damage, Andy Dales stepped up 2 minutes later to make it two nil.
Warrington’s heads did not drop though, and even though Mickleover did their best to slow the play down and waste time, The Blues continued to press forward. Some incredible saves by Musin delayed the comeback, with the woodwork also interfering.
With half time rapidly approaching Adekoya finally beat Musin with a simple tap in as the keeper lay on the ground.

Rylands continued on the front foot into the second half. Musin continued to make great saves. The equaliser came on the 66th minute with a shot by Cole Lonsdale which took a slight deflection before it found its target.
As the home side pressed for the winner tempers became frayed as the opposition dugout held the ball out of play for too long.
A point from this game takes Warrington Rylands off bottom place in the league and the belief from the squad is evident.

Neil Reynolds will see his side in the second cup match within three games as they travel to Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday for their first foray into the FA Trophy.
