While police attended at the Coop store on Cherry Lane store where the youths had been hanging around outside, a search of the area was made but no arrests were made.

In another incident a group of youths was seen hanging around Ridgway Grundy Park on Booths Hill Road, where there was a deliberate fire started.

On another occasion, youths were seen running in the road on Church Road near Lymm Dam, throwing bricks and starting a small fire. Again a search of the area was made but no arrests were made.
on two occasions off-road bikes were seen being ridden by youngsters without helmets on Albany Road, Statham and later the same evening four youths were seen riding on a park off Whitbarrow road without helmets.
Three youngsters without helmets were also seen riding off-road bikes on Maltmans Road.

Police have stepped up patrols in the anti-social hot spots while Albany Road was made “Street of the week” due to the number of complaints involving off-road bikes.
