THREE fire engines were called out to a blaze at a recycling plant in Winwick Road, Warrington.
Crews used two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze which involved a conveyer belt system, plant equipment and three skips.
Firefighters worked with onsite staff to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for around four and a half hours.
Fire engines from Warrington, Birchwood and Penketh were involved in the operation.
