Local cricket team Hyderabad Risers Pro were crowned champions in a recent 100-ball cricket tournament.
The tournament kicked off on August 22 and concluded an exhilarating final on September 5, with four teams participating in the tournament: Warrington Blasters Greens, Warrington Blasters Blues, Hyderabad Risers Pro, and Winners Warrington.
In the much-anticipated final between Winners Warrington and Hyderabad Risers Pro, Hyderabad claimed victory in a nail-biting finish. The Risers scoring 136/8 in their 100 balls, while Winners Warrington could score 133/10 only, handing the Risers a thrilling victory and the tournament title.
Dhamu emerged with top-scoring of 66 runs and taking 7 wickets, earning him both ‘best batsmen and bowler’. Rapheal Varghese was named the ‘best fielder’. Dhamu was awarded the ‘most valuable player’ of the tournament series.
The tournament organised by Warrington Blasters, was a great success, bringing together local cricket enthusiasts and showcasing an exciting format of the game.
