Warrington based X-Press Legal Services is marking its 25th anniversary by donating £25,000 to various charities, organisations and projects across the UK.
Lynne Lister, Managing Director of X-Press Legal Services – the largest independent provider of property searches and reports for conveyancers – wanted the fund to support as many charities and good causes in as many areas as possible and decided that the best way was through their franchise network of 28 locally owned offices.
Each of their owners absolutely loved the idea and there have already been various donations, as well as involvement in a number of local projects such as musical instruments for a primary school, kit for a youth football team, food for a pet sanctuary and a donation to a cancer charity, with much more to come.
Lynne Lister explained, “We are delighted to be celebrating 25 years of X-Press Legal Services and have enjoyed every minute. We have always given to charities and organisations, but this year as part of celebrating our quarter-century, we were thinking big. Our £25,000 charity campaign is our opportunity to help even more causes across the UK.
“Our franchisees have really got behind the campaign in their local areas. With some doing extra fundraising activities, as well as supporting various local projects and they have been giving throughout the year. We can’t wait to see what our final figure is at the end of the year.”
