Lumb Brook Road to close for essential telecommunications maintence works

LUMB Brook Road at Appleton is to close for essential telecommunications maintence works later this month.

The closure on September 23rd is expected to be for just one day to allow EE to carry out essential maintenance works on its telecommunication equipment.

Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Lumb Brook Road (unclassified) from its junction with the classified section of Lumb Brook Road to Witherwin Avenue.
The Order will be effective from 23rd September 2024 for 1 day, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The closure is required to allow EE to carry out essential maintenance works on its telecommunication equipment.
