Time Finance, one of the UK’s leading independent business financiers, has announced a change in role for Steve Nichols from Director of Asset Finance to Managing Director of Asset Finance.

The change in role will see Steve take on the responsibility of delivering the group’s asset finance results in the final year of their five-year growth plan and fully overseeing the next phase of strategic growth plans for the division. It will also see both the Asset Finance and Invoice Finance divisions structurally resemble one another.
Steve joined the group in January 2022, as Director of the Asset Finance division, holding strategic leadership positions at Simply Asset Finance, Close Brothers, Santander and Barclays, amounting to a total of 20 years of industry experience.

Commenting on the role change, Steve said: “I’m delighted to have been made Managing Director of Asset Finance. I’ve been with Time Finance for nearly 3 years now, and in that time the direction of the business has shifted dramatically which is reflective of the wider Time Finance group strategy.”
Ed Rimmer, Chief Executive Officer at Time Finance, added: “Steve’s title change reflects the hard work and commitment he has demonstrated over the last 3 years. It also reflects the progress the business has made since his arrival, and it fully aligns with our strategic direction as we continue to innovate and expand the business and follow our ambitious growth plans.”
