OFFICERS from the Town Centre Beat Team have issued CCTV images of a couple who are alleged to have carried out the theft of various items from TK Maxx on Tuesday 16th July 2024.
They are alleged to have used a clever little ‘abandoned basket technique’ to steal approx £300 worth of items – the female has filled a basket and abandoned it only to have the male come in and transfer the items to his backpack before leaving the shop with his ill-gotten gains.
