Firefighters tackle fly-tipping blaze

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a fire in the open in Warrington involving fly-tipping.

At 20:35 one crew from Lymm was called out to Birch Road, Hollins Green, Warrington, following reports of a fire in the open.

Fly tipping was involved in a fire measuring around 75 square metres. There were two seats of fire which were tackled using two hose reel jets.
The area was then dampened down and police were asked to attend.
