TWO fire engines from Warrington and Penketh were sent to deal with a fire in a first floor flat in Plumtre Avenue, Bewsey, Warrington.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with a hose reel jet last night (Wednesday) and searched the property to make sure all the occupants were accounted for.
There were no reports of anyone being harmed.
The cause of the blaze is believed to have been accidental.
