Warrington Market welcomes the return of the ‘Hop, Grape & Grain’ drinks festival this weekend, Saturday 3 August and Sunday 4 August.

Back by popular demand, the festival is a celebration of the best in real ale, craft lagers, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, accompanied by world street food and live music.
The event will feature inhouse beer slingers, the Hop Emporium, alongside fellow Cookhouse residents and cocktail masters, Pink Leaf Cocktail Co. with their own signature drinks.

Cllr Laura Watson, cabinet member for economy, growth and quality work, said: “We take pride in our reputation at the Market to deliver enjoyable and varied experiences for everyone, so we’re thrilled to see this festival return after its success last year.
“We’re also delighted to be extending our outdoor terrace over the weekend to provide additional seating to ensure we continue to accommodate anyone attending the festival, alongside our regular diners.”

Andy McKnight from the Hop Emporium also commented: “We are continually seeking out new independent brewers and suppliers to bring our customers the best possible alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.
“This year we have installed a new beer hut on the terrace in time for the event and we will be offering up a section of new Belgium and German beers, including Belgium’s premium PAX Pils on draft. We will also have a programme of live music and DJs performing throughout the weekend.”

The event will run on Saturday 3 August from 12pm – 11pm with last orders at 10.30pm, and on Sunday 4 August from 12pm – 7pm, with last orders at 6.30pm.
