Van Gogh reproductions hit the big screen in Grappenhall

Grappenhalls Community Cinema screening of “Loving Vincent” was accompanied by an exhibition of five Van Gogh reproductions.

They were painted by local artist Denis Holder who has been a great fan of Van Gogh since childhood. So much so, that over many years he has developed a detailed understanding of artists techniques and painted over 40 copies of Van Gogh’s work.
Denis likes to use his full size paintings, rather than photographs, to help people develop a better understanding of Van Gogh’s style of work.
He has given illustrated talks to Community groups and schools and has had a number displayed in the Central Library.
If you are a member of a local community group, school or library and would like more information about Denis making a presentation, often without a fee, then contact him on 07884 253784
