A 39-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody following a disturbance at an address in Bewsey during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It follows reports of a disturbance on Lilford Avenue, Bewsey at around 2.25 am this morning.
Police attended at the scene and arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of a section 39 common assault assault.
The male was taken into custody to assist police with their investigations.
