A drug driver was arrested in Warrington last night after crashing into traffic lights at a road junction at high speed.
The driver tested positive for cannabis so was arrested for drug driving.
The collision occurred at the junction of Wilderspool Causeway and Loushers Lane, with police saying it was caused by the driver driving at high speed.

Last night SC Hendry, Chief Boland, SC Hart & her A Block response colleague attended a collision in Warrington after a car had crashed due to travelling too quickly, wiping out the traffic lights.
