WARRINGTON and District Model Engineering Society are running steam train rides at the Cheshire Steam Fair at Daresbury this weekend.
Models of the Flying Scotsman, the Duchess of Abercorn and many other iconic steam and diesel locomotives will be ion show – and there will be pay-as-you-go rides through the Daresbury countryside.
The society is, as ever, looking for new members and they have a brand new website and a new Train Rides app to let people when and where they are running train rides.
Cheshire Steam Fair takes place this Saturday and Sunday, July 13 and 14 and the model train rides will be running from 10am on both days
